Bennedict Arnold

Benedict Arnold was a courageous man, and he probably was the best continental Army leader, but his loyalty to his country characterized him to be the finest commander. He will  be remember as a traitor because he turned his back on America at the time of need.

As the commander and chief of the continental army George Washington take, he did every thing for the love of his country, he was harassed by his opponents.  And George Washington was the commander of Benedict Arnold. Benedict Arnold was his most courageous soldier in his troop. So he promoted him. He gave him an assignment to lead the troops in the battle of Quebec.  Rumor has it, If Canada had not lost that battle of Quebec, Canada would have been a state in America. When the enemy intruded lake champ lane. The congress called on Arnold. In 1777 New York, Saratoga, Benedict Arnold was forced to lead the troops with general gates.  General gates hogged all the credits for winning that battle of Saratoga, General gates was elected as the hero of Saratoga. Benedict Arnold was seriously wounded in that battle of Saratoga in the battle of Saratoga, New York.

General Benedict Arnold decided to throw a grand party in the honor of the second anniversary of the declaration of the independence. When the patriots and the loyalists are surrounded in the same room, General Benedict Arnold can attack. But the congress ordered him not to. Instead he was ordered to go fight another battle. Which prevented him to go and get married, However he chose to get married. Every since, he was looked at as a traitor. And civilian attacked his house at the same night, he got married on.  From that moment on General Arnold did not want to fight for his country no more, plus he felt like his seniority was not recognized, so he went and cut a deal with the British to sell west point. Surprisingly, the British sent Andre Arnold’s ex fiancĂ©. Andre came in a ship which got destroyed and Andre was obligated to take the long way back home. When he did he was captured and hanged by three men.

General Gates went after Benedict Arnold to hang him for betraying his country. Anyway, gates decided to go look for him in his house but he was long gone in Britain , instead gates found his wife in the house and his wife lied to gates that he did not know where he was. Benedict Arnold died in 1801 at the age of 60; he was not remembered as a hero of Saratoga. Instead he was remembered as a desperate soldier who lost his leg in the battle of Saratoga.
